After the release of WatchOS 2.0 developers could create programs that run on the iPhone without the help of the clock. Yesterday came an updated Runkeeper app for Apple Watch, which allows you to record physical activity without the use of a smartphone.
It may seem that this is a minor update, but in fact it is a huge step forward for Runkeeper and all kind of applications. Now developers can use the maximum possibility of Apple Watch, creating a productive fitness program.
New Runkeeper for Apple Watch allows you to monitor heart rate, speed and distance without using the iPhone. You can also choose the type of activity directly on the wrist (running, walking, bike ride), view a summary of your workout. Another cool feature - analysis of the music you listen to while exercising. Runkeeper determines under what songs you run faster.
Updated Runkeeper is already available for download in the App Store.
