Why I sold my iPad

I am happy that my job allows me to test a lot of different devices for free. Any time I have at least one device on any existing platform. But when I want to spend their earned money on new and cool gadgets, almost always my choice falls on the Apple device. I have an iPhone 5, Apple TV and MacBook Air. And I still think that Apple makes the best technique (though it will not always) and that is why my preference is always given to them.
Also, I had the iPad (third-generation super cool the Retina display), but I sold it last week for $ 400 (only $ 100 cheaper than bought it a year ago). In recent years, something has changed, my iPad lying around the last few months. The battery is dead, but not from active use, and from weeks lying idle. And I had no desire to charge it.
In my computer habits took a sharp turn. When I first bought my iPad, I used it much more than a desktop computer. Coming home, I enjoyed iPad'om for Twitter, watching videos and more. The computer was idle and include only for the work to pull the iPad could not. Perhaps the computer has become for me a convenient text editor.
So what happened?
I began to use the iPad less and less due to the increased amount of work out of the office. For writers and bloggers, iPad is not a perfect handheld device, even with steep accessories in the form of a keyboard. Therefore, I began to notice that the more time I spend behind the MacBook and realized that all the things you can do with a tablet, you can also do on your computer. Twitter, news, post office - everything is conveniently done without the help of the tablet.
And it so happened that I now have only 2 devaysa: iPhone (for e-mail, work out fine and listen to podcasts on the subway) and a computer (for work and everything else). A $ 400, which I helped out of iPad sales have been much more useful iPad itself. Now everyone says that the tablet will soon kill a PC. But, in most cases, if you need to do some work, you choose your computer. Games, entertainment and browsing - this is perhaps all that can be a tablet. inferiority problem tablets trying to solve Microsoft, but let's face it, their Surface Pro - died before he could enter the market.
Until someone can not create a perfect hybrid of tablet and computer, I do not see the need to have the device 3 instead of 2. A phone and computer are just two such devices.
Do you think whether the tablets so really useless?
