Despite the fact that Apple is not the first equips its flagship Face ID, in everyday life still remains a lot of smart phones with good old Touch ID. They support iOS 12 and do not lose relevance.
By default, you can add only to unlock five different prints fingers. But there is a little-known trick to increase their number to ten. Its essence is to be written in each of the available slots from two prints. Here's how it's done.
1. Open the "Settings» → «Touch ID and Passcode" and enter the PIN.
2. Remove all fingerprints, alternately open each of them and pressing the appropriate button.
3. Select "Add stamp" and attach the thumb of his right hand several times.
4. Then, when asked to take iOS device conveniently attach and scan the left thumb.
5. Repeat the procedure for all the other fingers.
As a result, you will be able to unlock the iPhone, use Apple Pay, Fill in passwords and install applications by touching the Touch ID in any of the ten finger.
Theoretically, the registration of two fingerprints in one slot can reduce the accuracy of recognition. For each of these specially recorded twice in different positions to avoid scanning errors. But in practice, everything works fine.
If any problems occur you can simply adjust the thumb as it should be, and the other to add two in each of the remaining four slots. As a result, prints will be nine, and accuracy is not affected.
