I have long ceased to follow up applications for reading books, as they replaced Bookmate. Of course, there is a claim to it, but as a platform for reading books Bookmate seems to me the best solution. But if you are looking for is not a social network, a separate book application, the Read it may become.
First of all, Read highlights the fact that the app is free. Additional functions, which are opened for the money, too, and advertising is not here. The app only works with ePub-format, but cons is difficult to write - to find in this format can be almost any book.
While reading, you can change the font size, spacing, and color scheme. All three of them, and they are standard: light, dark and sepia. If flipping pages does not suit you, you can change it to vertical scrolling.
When you select any phrase appears Highlight button that lets you create a quote. Citations are stored in a separate menu, which shows a form of tape. If the Read to connect Evernote, the quotation will be to maintain.
Great app, you can connect and Dropbox, then all the books from the cloud will be available for reading. And if in the Read to create an account, it will remove restrictions on the number of books in the library (two) and enable sync reading positions between devices.
Despite the fact that the application is free, cons I have not found it. Read on iPhone 5 works fine and without problems shows Russian-language books. By the way, the book can be downloaded not only from Dropbox, but also from the internet - when downloading ePub-books offer Read to open it.
