Inviolable rule number one for all photographers: light - your best friend. Some amateurs (especially beginners) lead to panic situations where shooting is not over yet, and already the sun begins to set. But be that as it may, in the absence of light, too, has its own charm. However, in order to learn how to spend a night photographing, you need some knowledge and practice, but, having mastered some basic techniques, you will learn it in no time. Just imagine how exciting photographs you can do!
1. "The Golden Hour"
"Golden hour" - time favorite of many photographers. This is the first hour after sunrise and the last hour before sunset. The sky is incredible at this time, it can combine a variety of colors: blue, purple, blue, orange, red... If you are really fond of photography, then must spend a few photo shoots in this time. :)
2. What is needed for night photographing
Using additional fotoprimochek significantly improve the quality of your photographs taken and enormously facilitate the process of shooting and subsequent photo processing.
Panels and the cable switch to the camera remote control. Sometimes it's hard to catch the right moment, controlling the camera manually. You can too hurry, or, conversely, do not have time. If your camera can be controlled via the remote control, use this opportunity, if necessary. You can also use the self-timer to delay the shutter.
Tripod. Let stand in many cases - quite heavy and large bells and whistles, but it is hard to deny its usefulness to the photographers. :) Choose a good angle and composition to avoid the 'effect of shaky hands "and a lot of other useful things can be done using a tripod. And at night taking pictures tripod generally irreplaceable assistant, as a limited number of light to constantly increase the shutter speed, which is detrimental to the pictures if you do it with " hands. "
Use a flashlight and an external flash. Lighting - that's what will help you with a lack of lighting. Ordinary flashlight allows you to get a variety of color and perception effects; play around with it, drive it from side to side, it gives a more natural effect. External flash much better built, it will help to avoid harsh shadows and unwanted reflections.
wide-angle lens. "Wide-angle" or "Shirikov" as they call such lenses in the people. Using a wide-angle lens allows an increase in the angle of view, so it is often necessary for night photography.
3. What you need to remember starting the night taking pictures
- Plan ahead for the composition. Of course, sometimes it happens that the photos are excellent spontaneously and become proud in your photo library. But it is better to plan the process of shooting, take the time to search for the best location and view, make a couple of test shots.
- Remember the ISO. High ISO performance allow for shooting in low light, but it should be remembered that increasing the ISO increases the amount of noise. Although, if you own a good Photoshop or any other image-editing function, it is unlikely to scare you. :)
- Do not forget to use a variety of photo effectsThat will make your pictures even more original. For example, blur in motion (Motion Blur). This effect is most noticeable with long shutter speed and in that case, if the object being photographed was a great speed.
Many of us love to meet the dawn and see the "passing day smiles" - sunsets. And we so often want to capture these natural wonders. But, unfortunately, not always the case at hand and the camera is not often dawns, sunsets "catch up" our convenient locations for photography. For example, we can go to the bus or just randomly go to the balcony. Personally, I have a couple of times there were such situations. :)
