Interesting and fun presentation at TED on why all teachers must hold at least a little special magic that captivate their students and for all instill a love of learning. Just watch out for his hands and facial expressions;)
On Layfhakere huge number of articles have been published devoted to education, and some of them are concerned directly concerns the teaching and our legacy system, which is unable to instill in children a love of training. Moreover, because of the habits of our teachers to strictly follow the instructions in the manuals, some students after the end of the first class are eager to go back to kindergarten. Sometimes it does not happen because the bad teachers, but because they are taught properly. After all, in order to captivate, the teacher does not just have a thorough knowledge of the material. It should be a little storyteller, a little speaker, a little actor. And then the children will follow him, never taking his eyes, eagerly soaking up anything that was said in class. After all, even the most interesting lecture can mumbled monotone so that half of the class will fall asleep in the first 20 minutes.
Equally painful problem hobbies learning process raises in his speech at TED @ NYC Christopher Emdin, who as Examples are given a fascinating conversation at the hairdresser's or preacher speaking in the black church, and focuses on the Storytelling. In our case, for role models may be slightly different, but they are there, just need to think twice.
