"Flynn effect" referred to a phenomenon which shows that each generation reaches better results on IQ tests. Does this mean that every generation is really getting smarter, or simply goes beyond previous thinking, and already operates on a completely different category?

In his speech at the TED, researcher and philosopher James Flynn shares his thoughts about the difference between the thinking of people of the early twentieth century, from the later generations. He begins his tour of 1900, and completes our days. Video is also interesting in that it explains why we now have what we have, and why our grandmothers (and sometimes parents) it is impossible to explain what "work" - that's not where you go every day from 9:00 to 18:00, and what you do, regardless of where and time.
