Life beyond the normal, or what can we learn from autism
A Life / / December 19, 2019
Short and inspiring speech at the TED writer Faith Dzhedzhid that people can not hurt at least sometimes look at life and the events occurring from a different point of view and try to understand the other, not like them, people.
When you live in a society, you have to abide by its laws. Society does not like people who are isolated and characterized. Usually they are marginalized, regardless of whether they are geniuses, people with mental disabilities or with physical disabilities. People are hard to accept those who are different, and does not think the way they are. You either live in a herd, or you are expelled.
But the problem is that the other world can bring a lot of interesting discoveries. It has long been no secret that many geniuses were more or less autistic. People who see the world is not like the others, are very different ways of solving problems.
In his short but inspiring speech writer Faith Dzhedzhid talks about his brothers with autism, their talents, and that before giving someone a value judgment, it is necessary to go beyond the usual framework and at least try to see the world from another side.
And this applies not only to autism or other disabilities people. This applies to everyone who does not think like you. Unfortunately, many of us have long forgotten what a "dialogue."
