According to the philosopher Nick Riggle, openness and broadmindedness in social situations - the main characteristics of the stunning man.
Riggle Nick (Nick Riggle)
Professor of Philosophy at the University of San Diego, author of "How to be a terrificĀ» (On Being Awesome).
Riggle says, "stunning" man - is the one who creates the feeling among people of mutual appreciation, It goes beyond the usual norms and express their individuality in a way that encourages others to express own. In short, when you feel comfortable to be themselves and to others in your community, too comfortable to express themselves.
The idea is not to stop people to be who they want to be.
This skill can be developed in the most simple routine situations, such as ordering a coffee. Think of it as you normally would. Probably just get in the role of "visitor cafe." Ie behave exactly the same as all other visitors. There is nothing wrong with a society based on such public roles. But, acting in accordance with them, we did not express their individuality and do not notice the person with whom we communicate.
Try to go beyond the usual role and to express themselves, giving the same opportunity and the interlocutor. For example, ordering a coffee, joke, make a compliment, praise the taste of a drink, ask a question or just sympathetic thank sincerely. It will take you just a minute, but it can change your whole day and the day of the interlocutor.
Think about the last time you gave someone a gift just like that? Or chatted amiably with a stranger? Or trying to cook something special for the family? It is at such moments we become stunning.
