5 mistakes that prevent us from being happy
A Life / / December 19, 2019
1. Life is made up of "good" and "bad"
People call good what they like, and bad - that deny or do not understand. Spend your life thinking and debate about what is good and what is bad - senseless.
"That's right" or "wrong" - it's just judgment. What is acceptable for one, totally unacceptable for another. Do not seek to give a clear assessment of the whole. Within the framework of categorical concepts, you deprive yourself of life colors, making your world only in black and white.
Decide for yourselves, effective or ineffective your behavior from the point of view of the legitimate aims and act on the basis of this decision.
If someone is trying to prove that you are wrong, just ask: "What harm I put my other lifestyle or views on the world? "If you do not receive a reasoned response, which means you only have touched someone's (one thousand) and a good understanding of bad.
2. Happiness must be earned
A common misconception that leads to constant dissatisfaction. Many people believe that happiness is necessary to earn points by performing an unknown inventory. One day, all the checkboxes will be delivered and happiness will come. And yet something was missing: a brilliant career, an exemplary family, eternal love or a suitcase of money.
It is important to realize that everyone is born with the right to be happy, and it does not require special achievements.
No external conditions do not guarantee a quiet life and satisfaction.
Look for your happiness within itself, in details, which bring joy in labor, which satisfies. And allow yourself to have fun now, without regard to their own merits.
3. People are divided into luckies and losers
If you think that you are haunted by failure, and the rest is just more lucky, you're trapped in a dangerous delusion.
Failure is not an indication that you do something wrong. The most prominent, productive and happy people, too, are experiencing failure. The main thing - do not hang over the negative labels and continue to work.
Be careful with any negative statements about themselves: they can develop into complexes or create emotional blocks.
Remember that it is worth to share their identity and activities. Failure - this is just an error in the job or a relationship, but it is not an indication of your inadequacy.
4. It is impossible to disappoint others
To live with an eye on other people - a thankless task. Try to spend at least a week, trying to please everyone. Most likely, it's you terribly exhausted.
Whatever you do, someone will like it, and someone - no. Take into account the constructive comments, if necessary - ask for advice. But do not put your life on it to fit into someone else's standards or not to offend anyone.
What is the difference that relatives think about your partner? What sense to choose a profession, relying solely on the desire of parents? You do not get any bonuses, matching the expectations of someone else's. Only spend time on things that you are not interested in, and for the people who you do not like.
5. In a happy person always in a good mood
Although magazines and books are advised to be "on the positive," that does not mean that we have to have a good mood 24 hours a day. Life would not be life without conflict, anger, hostility, fear, and sadness. You can bring up your character so that these feelings do not become destructive, but do not try to completely eliminate from life all the negative experiences.
Feelings, as well as other events in life, are the shortcuts. Joy - well, anger - a bad thing. In fact, all the emotions are of equal importance. Should not seek to drive them inside, wearing a mask is always a good mood.
Be aware of your emotions, living them, ask yourself the question, splashes thoughts on paper. Find a place for sadness and joy. Indians no wonder they say: "In my heart there will be a rainbow, if there were tears in his eyes."
