How to clean up the mess in your information space
A Life / / December 19, 2019
A huge number of informational trash that is dumped on our heads every day, threatening to fill us and deprive us of our normal perception of reality. I do not notice how you become angry, irritable, and spend time on some empty and unconstructive things. And that means - it's time to put things in order in the information space.
Social network
Starting with friends to cleaning. I personally do not intend to abandon the social networks: they are quite interesting and useful for me tools and communication capabilities. But the order should bring. Remove my friends that are "noisy": throw a lot of unconstructive negativity, "learn to live" or bored invitation to a group, a community, an online game. Also remove casual acquaintances and subscribers, that you did not communicate more than a year and who do not understand why until now "you" in the social network.
You do not have to keep these people yourself. Their worldview - not yours. Their opinion - it does not matter. Your time you have spent being distracted by them - valuable.
Blogs
There was a time when political scandals and acute social blogs read everything that was "trending." You still need people to pour water and handing out marks to all but himself? Why are you reading this?
Leave only the blogs that you are really interested.
Be interested in something outside their professional sphere - it is very conducive to your growth. But do not accumulate a lot of "junk" or "fashionable" subscriptions.
TV
I do not know what TV channels you are watching and why you do it. I left the National Geographic, Viasat Nature, Viasat History, NatGeo Wild, DeutscheWelle and A-One (I love rock music, what to do :)). My advice is to replace the TV on video podcasts on the TED speech, audio lectures iTunes U, Coursera courses or interesting podcasts.
TV airtime has long exhausted itself in the CIS, cable and satellite - is approaching the same elevation beyond good and evil, and quality software products, and from the emotional and intellectual message (or rather - its absence), which in their ethers. Do not dispose of the TV if you have it: the big screen good films and broadcasts from conferences look much better than on the tablet.
Radio
FM-radio still exists? :) From the online radio stations leave the music that you have a good work, relax, I think. News - optional. Avoid domestic radio stations even on the Internet: advertising on them and chatter minded people, which for some reason called DJs, frustrating and distracting.
Other miscellaneous
The rule is simple: boring books, serials strange, incomprehensible films zamorochennyh, arrogant and dumb people - in another reality, not yours. Do not regret and do not spare: information and emotional load in the form of random, "not-your" media, people, events, books, websites, drags you to the bottom - but why? You owe nothing to them.
Keep purity and constructive in its information field. It's good for yourself and for those who communicate and work with you. I hope my little tips will be useful.
