A Life / / December 19, 2019
In order not to offend the hosts, who have spent on cooking time and effort necessary to act more sensitively.
dissuasion
Here are a few phrases that can distract from the attention and the wrath of the owners:
- No thanks, I'm saving room for other meals.
- I can not wait to try another dish!
- From such a ingredient in my bad stomach, So I'd better refrain.
- Looks very appetizing, but I still want to eat that on my plate.
- I'm so fed up that I have any more pieces will not fit! Thank you for a great lunch!
- I'll leave it on the second run! (And then "forget" to put this dish yourself or tell me what you overeat.)
Speak cheerful cheerful tone, smile. And try to quickly pass a plate of dish you unpleasant neighbor.
Try just a little bit
If the owners do not give up, or do you feel compelled to try to take a small portion of bad food. Instead of saying "no", put on his plate just a little bit. So you show respect to those who prepared it. Of course, to take one piece potatoes or one drop of sauce it would be strange, but you can take one or two tablespoons.
If you do not like a dish you, but you still want to eat up a portion, try to "seize" it with something tasty. Or abundantly season with its sauce.
At the end was kind enough
Do not be rude, even if some of the dishes you did not like. When the hosts asked how you the most (not much) dish, focus on the positive side and move the conversation on what you like. For example:
- Dinner was excellent! Thank you for inviting.
- Oh, I really liked it... it was very tasty. But I have it never fails.
- I am impressed with how well you have planned dinner. Above all praise!
Just do not mention the dish that you did not like, and tell me what you had to taste, thank the hosts for their efforts.
