Self-discipline must be taught from an early age, it is better to birth. This process is gradual: a child is born without a ready-made models of behavior. They are formed under the influence of the immediate environment. To teach a child self-discipline, especially the parents themselves have to be disciplined and organized. Therefore, I recommend the following adult.
1. Restrain promises
Allowed to buy something your child - then it is necessary to buy it. We decided to punish - the word restrain and punish the child, despite the feelings (felt sorry, got excited, and a few minutes later change your mind). If you are not going to do something, you do not talk about it and give empty promises.
2. Comply with the time frame
For example, if adults give five minutes of picking up the child at the toy, then exactly five minutes, you should check performed the task or not. Or another situation: the baby was allowed to watch TV for half an hour. Exactly 30 minutes to turn off the cartoon.
3. Sticking to a daily routine
It is important to put to bed the child is not when he wanted this baby, or when it is convenient to the parent, and about the same time. This also applies to calls.
4. Behave constructively in different situations - without shouting and tantrums
If you drop the cup and broke it, saying, "Oh, wow, it was necessary to be careful, I will continue to be careful" and go for a mop. Or go with the child to shop for the right thing for you, but it was not there. Explain to your child that in this case it is necessary to look at another store or go for it the other day, when it will be available.
5. instill responsibility
You can give the child small tasks and instructions for which will be borne by a responsibility Only he. For example, take care of plants, pet, wipe the dust, wash the dishes.
