Unlike traditional external battery FingerPow use a completely different concept. Their creators did not strive for maximum capacity and bet on compactness.
Mini-batteries resemble a normal USB flash drive. That's just instead of the standard the USB-port they use more ergonomic magnetic connector. With mating portion which is inserted permanently into a smartphone, FingerPow one movement connected to it without any wires. In the same way the batteries are charged and the base, which provides a number of magnetic connectors, which plug-ins banks.
Each of them has a capacity of 600 mAh, which is enough for charging any smartphone by 20-25%, which is usually not enough. Especially since there is nothing stopping to take a few batteries, good space they take up almost no: a pair of modules fits within the pocket of his jeans.
FingerPow compatible with gadgets with connectors microUSB, USB-C and Lightning (corresponding magnetic adapters are included). For those four batteries of 600 mAh is not enough, the developers have provided a model FingerPow Plus, in which the base of the charging module has a built-in battery at 5,000 mAh.
The creators have collected the required amount to KickstarterBut pre-orders will be available still almost two weeks. FingerPow will cost $ 40, FingerPow Plus - 49.
