Thing of the day: eVscope - smart telescope, created with the support of SETI
Devices / / December 19, 2019
Powerful telescope with innovative optics and automatic setting feature for anyone interested in astronomy.
eVscope - an advanced telescope for amateur astronomers, developed with the support of the SETI Institute. In addition to its innovative features, the device boasts a program of joint research. Thanks to her, every owner of such a telescope will be able to make a contribution to space exploration.
Reflecting telescope remarkable powerful special optics and light capture technology with more prolonged exposure. This allows eVscope to capture more light in comparison with other amateur telescopes and forming clear colorful images that can be obtained only by using expensive professional equipment.
In addition, the telescope can automatically adjust to specified objects in a mobile application. Thanks to the integrated GPS module and an extensive database of celestial bodies eVscope independently adjusts its position to monitor the selected object and can even identify the stars, comparing the coordinates with base data.
All users can enable eVscope Campaign mode if you wish to take part in the program SETI Research Institute, transferring data from your telescope to analyze the flying asteroids, comets and other observations of cosmic phenomena. All settings are made via a mobile app, and from there you can share photos with the telescope in social networks.
The device can be ordered at Kickstarter for 1200 dollars. eVscope Delivery will begin in November of next year.
