From the first motorcycles to robots - the 70-year history of Honda's quite ingeniously placed in a two-minute animated video.
The new Honda commercial called Paper - it's a two-minute animation, where we are witnessing the evolution of fast motorcycles and cars of the company. What really sets Paper, among many other commercials - this is the style.
The most interesting is that the Paper really is what it looks like - stop-motion animation of the thousands of drawings on paper, created by different artists. And no computer graphics.
Creating a movie took about four months, and directed by a well-known animator PES (real name - Adam Pesapane), winner of many awards in the field of animation.
To transfer the movement of the arms, moving the cards with drawings, it was used the technique of "puppet" animation (each frame hand alive actors moved a little), but only the camera used for shooting - computer graphics applied only at the planning stage and storyboards.
