Thing of the day: Bellcycles - the compact DIY-bike with a modular design

Not paying attention to the well-known proverb, inquiring minds continue to reinvent the wheel. Sometimes these experiments poured into something really interesting. Bellcycles project is just one of them.

Unusual Bike comes disassembled for self-assembly. It is based on advanced blisks and has a modular design, allowing at the need to add a truck for transportation of goods, rear axle with two small wheels or an electric motor.

As with the unicycle, pedals Bellcycles located right on the wheel and additionally equipped with a chain drive. Wheel bicycle is behind the saddle, allowing the hands to take a more natural position. In addition to steering from the bike, there is another living hinge on the fork of the rear wheel, which adds even more agility.

Bellcycles much more compact conventional bicycle and takes up less space. If desired, it can be equipped with an electric motor unit which is bought separately and in turn elektrobayk. But even with a conventional pedal power it will please you and catches the eye of passers-by on the street.
