Thing of the day: a holographic automobile assistant with gesture control

On Indiegogo has successfully launched a holographic automobile assistant EyeDrive, designed to reduce the risk of accidents due to the use of the smartphone while driving. To do this, the device will display the most important information of mobile applications directly on the windshield.
Project can be a navigator, a music player, as well as a contact picture for an incoming call or new message. Managed by the device using voice assistant from Google or Apple - depending on the smartphone.
There is also a management support with simple swipe gestures. For use in the car to install proprietary infrared sensor that will detect movement.
These uncomplicated actions can terminate calls, adjust the volume of music or move to EyeDrive menu. The sensor is powered by built-in battery, which should be enough for 500 hours of use without recharging.
EyeDrive kit can be supplemented with parking camera with a similar autonomy. The device is protected against water and built-in wireless module that allows to broadcast an image directly on the base unit, which projects the image.
For maximum brightness of the displayed image on the glass must be glued special transparent film. Due to such a reflective surface image is easy to read in all conditions, including in bright sunlight.
EyeDrive developers have already received the necessary amount to start production, but fundraising and to accept applications the purchase is still ongoing. Projecting screen itself can be purchased for $ 199 (≈ 13 100 rubles). Kit with motion sensor will cost $ 269 (≈ 17 700 rubles), and together with the parking camera - 349 dollars (≈ 22 900 rubles).
