PHABLET № 1 audiophile - Oppo U3
Devices / / December 19, 2019
Pawn quality sound - a combination of good audio quality and decoder. For portable listening pretty easy to pick up good headphones. And as a good portable playback device can perform a new smartphone Oppo U3.
The new device is the Oppo company, already well-known in the Russian market due to its player and headphones, equipped with hardware Hi-Fi-audio decoder (read - a separate chip) Asahi Kasei AK4961. Exactly the same is set in an already well-known flagship ZTE Nubia Z7.
The chip is integral recording and reproducing device combines the 32-bit audio codec (Mode playback, recording - only 24-bit sound, which is a lot for an ordinary voice recorder) with a DSP-processor (CPU, managing sound processing). In the last four filters built in, allowing to rebuild devaysa sound like a pro level: it is something akin to ekvalayzingu, but at a lower (it can be assumed that the higher quality) level.
Since the smartphone can play only stereo, worth special mention merits of this particular part of the chip. For stereo reproduction uses its own Class G stereo amplifier with output power of 25 mW when headphones are connected with an impedance of 32 ohms or 40 mW with many standard headphones 16 ohms load. Sound distortion does not exceed 0.1%, and the ratio of signal and noise in the range 100-119 dB. (Strictly speaking, not every desktop system boasts similar characteristics: the limit for the table fitting today is a reproduction of 24-bit numbers.)
If the Chinese will be able to properly implement the possibility of audio processors, it is possible to say that the Oppo U3 sound quality It will approach the audiophile portable devices, avoiding almost all available music Soup in its price categories.
It should immediately look at a novelty any Oppo headphones, recently appeared on the Russian market.
Other filling PHABLET also appreciate the owner:
- 5.9-inch screen with a resolution of 1920 × 1080;
- 64-bit eight-chip MediaTek MT6752 clocked at 1.7 GHz;
- 2 GB of RAM;
- 16 GB of internal memory with expandable microSD cards;
- 13 megapixel main camera with Sony IMX124 interpolation to 50 Mn;
- 5 megapixel front camera;
- battery - 3000 mAh battery.
Dimensions of the device are 156.8 × 81.8 × 9 mm, and weight - 180 g
Larger battery, a great camera module (it can only spoil the underdeveloped Chinese firmware, which sooner or later will still be corrected), a new processor and a good screen find a buyer.
There is also a nice feature: the company's engineers have equipped the new ability to charge the battery to 75% in just half an hour, which will surely come in handy with the screen and the additional audio chip. Do not forget about the support work in networks of the third and fourth generations.
Initially it was assumed that U3 will receive a four-time optical zoom. Alas, this feature has not been confirmed, although selfie and a good photo of the main chamber will suffice even the experienced user.
It might be noted as a tribute to the Chinese fashion there are two slots for SIM-card, but it is a plus. Perhaps the only thing that can somehow give its Chinese origin - obsolete for today Android 4.4.4 KitKat on board (more precisely, ColorOS 2.0.1). Probably update 5.0 or higher will be closer to the middle of summer.
About Russian sales, both formal and through resellers, not yet reported. In China, the device is already on sale at the price of 2798 yuan (about 30 000 at the current rate).
