How to clean AirPods, to look like new

Toothbrush, insulating tape, vinegar and hydrogen peroxide is able to return the original appearance of headphones and case.

During the six months to AirPods I'm so used to them that he was ready to name their ideal headphones. Yet there is only one: Charging Case is very easy to get dirty, and wash it quite difficult. I tried a little less than a dozen ways to give headphones kind of "out of the box" and is ready to share the most effective.

What happened

Outside case looks like new. Spoils the impression a couple of small chips and a few muddy spots barely visible in places cover friction and jeans.

• hydrogen peroxide;
• vinegar;
• duct tape (and scissors);
• cotton buds;
• toothpicks;
• toothbrush.

It is necessary to seal the tape all the places with patches of dirt, dust and lint. Grooves in the contact points between the cover and case are quite narrow, so the duct tape should additionally smooth toothpick.

Unglued insulating tape will bring together most of the dirt.

What happened

Both of the above washing method of the case work, use can be arbitrary. I also tried to use a soap solution, alcohol, citric acid, baking soda, WD-40 and even small nazhdachku (which was absolute nonsense, because the plastic is easily scratched).
