Manufacturers of smartphones continue to get rid of the mini-jack 3.5 mm and allowed only Type-C digital ports. We have to buy new headphones with an appropriate connector or cordless model. Developers from Hong Kong offers an alternative - to connect existing headphones to their usual wireless transmitter.
Blip connects to devices via Bluetooth 4.2. you can put a small device in your pocket or attached to clothing - it weighs only eight grams. With it you can listen to music and make calls. Toggle song, answer an incoming call or adjust the volume - just one movement or pressing. The range of the transmitter is approximately 10 meters.
Blip installed inside the chip, which is capable of transmitting sound to 24-bit quality, while active suppressing echo and noise with built-in microphone (desired signal to noise ratio reaches 105 db). Furthermore, the device is protected against water penetration - it is not afraid of rain, perspiration or occasional splashing from the cup.
The device is being charged quickly - in just 15 minutes, and works in the music listening time of up to five hours.
Order Blip complete with a carrying case for charging can be on Kickstarter for $ 13. instrument delivery should start in January 2019.
