So, we have three ways to cook hard-boiled egg: cook it under the new rules, steamed or baked in the oven. The latter option is suitable if you have many guests who prefer boiled eggs for breakfast. Since the author did not indicate clearly the time limits, I did a few tests and choose the perfect, in my opinion, the results.
Boiling water, the embodiments 1 and 1a
When I first started to learn to cook, the very first and simple dishes, which allowed me was pasta or boiled eggs. And since that time I clearly remember that you should always put the noodles in boiling water, and eggs - in the cold! However, the article offered a slightly different version: lower the eggs directly into the boiling water, let it boil for 30 seconds, and then make a very small fire.
The first time I decided to give simmer for 30 seconds and leave very low heat for 5 minutes. The result in the photo is the number 1. It turned out not so. A second attempt to boiling for 30 seconds and then cooked at a very low heat for 10 minutes and then lain down just 5 more minutes in hot water. As a result, the egg is very easy to clean and it came with a delicate but well-cooked egg yolk.
Oven, embodiments 2 and 2a
With the oven all it turned out very simple, so I really recommend this option for those who need to cook at the same time a lot of eggs. To do this, wet a towel and wring it well, put it directly on the grill, lay eggs on it and send it all in a cold oven. Eggs are prepared at a temperature of 180 degrees for 30-35 minutes.

Steam embodiments 3 and 3a
With all the steam it is also quite simple, if you have a pressure cooker. On my written that the eggs are prepared for 25-30 minutes. Option 3 was prepared 25 minutes embodiment 3a - 30 minutes. It turns out almost the same as in the oven.
After trying three new variants of the preparation of boiled eggs, I came to the conclusion that the option of an oven and a steamer like me more, as they guarantee 99.9% integrity of the shell. That is, none of the 4 eggs (2 in the oven and 2 in a double boiler) never cracked. So now, if I need to cook more than 6 eggs, I will use the oven or steamer! A first option of boiling water for me is different from the standard method only in that then the eggs are very easy to clean from the shell without additional tweaks.
During the experiments suffered only 2 eggs that moved into the marriage, the others were sent to a salad;)
