Google Meter turns wallpapers for Android in the useful live widget

Wallpaper on your mobile device, whether it is a static picture or animation, always carried exclusively decorative sense and did not allow practical use. Google's new experiment called Meter is designed to make wallpaper useful.

After installing the application Meter user three choices are available live wallpaper containing indicators of the current battery level, signal quality network and Wi-Fi, as well as the number of notifications (notifications to display the application will ask to give him access to the relevant function). Unfortunately, at the same time only one indicator can be displayed on the screen.

The figures related to the mobile device gyroscope and behave like real physical objects. For example, when the device is tilted Wi-Fi indicator within the inverted triangle starts to flow like a liquid in a vessel. Circle displaying battery charge rolls within a larger circle and lit when charged, and "puff" notification changes the thickness of lines.

Let us hope that in the future these widgets can display more different information and combine multiple indicators on a single screen.
