Simple and free way to listen to music and lectures from YouTube on Android

YouTube service contains an infinite number of music programs, lectures and audio books. In this article we'll show you how they can listen in the background on devices running Android.
YouTube has long outgrown the framework of a simple storage service for home video. Today it can be regarded as a new generation of television containing thematic channels for all tastes, including music, entertainment, education.
Specially produced for a paid app, Google music lovers YouTube MusicWhich among other things provides the ability to listen to music in the background. However, there are ways to get this functionality without subscribing.
We already introduced you with one method of solving this problem. But its use requires root access and install Xposed, that is not for everyone. We would therefore like to offer you another simple and affordable way to listen to music from YouTube in the background. To do this, you need only the Firefox browser for Android.
- Download and install the mobile version of Firefox on the link that you will find at the end of the article.
- Run the program and go to YouTube.
- Locate the desired track and start playback.
- Then you can turn off Firefox, run other programs, or even turn off the screen and put the smartphone in your pocket. Music will still sound.
This method has a slight drawback. It lies in the fact that Firefox does not display any notification in the status bar or on the lock screen, with the help of which one could control the playback. So if you need to put music on pause, or switch to the next track, you have to open Firefox again.
But this method is completely free and can be used perfectly on any device running Android.
