No excuses: "All that is done - for the better" - an interview with Yuri treveliverom Curco

Yuri Curco (Great) - economist from Kiev, build a successful political career. spinal injury turned his life upside down, and a year ago, he went to Thailand in search of health and spiritual harmony.

We talked to Yura travel, Thailand and the domestic human potential.

- Hello, Yuri! How are you feeling?

- Hi, Nastya! Excellent! I sit in a cafe on the shore of the Gulf of Thailand and is ready to answer your questions.

- Then to him and move on. Now you are in Thailand, but where you're from?

- I was born in Svitlovodsk, Kirovograd region, Ukraine. I lived there for half a lifetime, and after graduating from high school, my family moved to Kiev. Both of these cities are favorite for me and family.

I also have two family names. According to his passport, I Curco, but on the Internet I know the names of my mother - Great.

- Where to go after school to study?

- I entered the Academy of Municipal Management at the Faculty of Economics, Finance specialization.

At the 4th year on probation in the program "for students of the Parliament." Three years as an assistant People's Deputy of the Committee on Finance and Banking of the Supreme Soviet of Ukraine. Once engaged state. procurement tenders held.

Opened good prospects. I was planning to build a political career, but as they say, you want to make God laugh, tell him your plans.

- What changed your plans?

- Accident. We traveled with friends for a vacation in the Crimea - Split, was injured.

Six months spent in the intensive care unit and after weighed 60 kilograms of force before the accident was 95 kg, engaged in sports, was slim. Now my unsightly does not please me, perhaps because by nature I am an esthete, and in due time graduated from art school.

Then I spent the whole 9 months in the Crimea, but in a sanatorium for rehabilitation.

- Many took the time to learn to live in a new way?

- The first year I just did not believe it was me that all this is happening to me. I wake up, I think, now go put the kettle, and then remember that you can not walk... and do not believe.

By the time of the expiration comes the understanding that everything that is done - for the better. But we always realize this after the fact.

- What is it like?

Trauma radically changed my life. It was she who gave me the impetus to spiritual development. I had a lot of time to think. There was a reappraisal of values.

- Why did not you become embittered: young handsome guy enviable career prospects and all the skids?

- Yes, because life is beautiful and amazing, like it or not. To reach the top, sometimes you need to get to the bottom to push off. I realized, among others, one important thing: that the basic and fundamental meaning of life lies in spiritual development. Such as I was young and ambitious, a lot. Unfortunately, most live just because life happens to them without realizing it.

But in every man there is an inner potential, which he does not even know. Sometimes, to open it and show people how it can be, God throws us such "surprises" pushing each one of us with difficulties, due to which we are developing, as there is no choice - either up or down, the third not given.

In this case, someone finds the strength and reveals who, alas, begins to look for an excuse to seek those responsible for our problems and failures. After all, when we are successful, we believe that it is our merit - hang yourself on the medal chest. When not always to blame someone or something.

- What does it depend: the environment, nature, education?

- All alone. First of all, from your inner core, character, position in life, the ability to set priorities, but also the environment in which you grow, and many, many factors. Someone close to help someone he copes and friends play a huge role here. But again, in us it has great potential. The main thing - to see the purpose, strive to work on themselves, and, of course, to believe.

One way ticket

- Jura, like you were in Thailand?

- I went to rehab, recovering, getting to his feet. I was in Israel, I was in Germany, there is a good treatment, but expensive. Visiting only one Thai massage in Kiev, it became clear - this is mine, for me, Thai massage works wonders.

I arrived in Pattaya. In rented accommodation.

I did not know how much I came to Thailand - I had a one-way ticket.

It's been a year, and I'm not going back. :)

- Tai fall in love?

- Yes. Tai is perfect! He gives a lot of opportunities. Here you can live and enjoy life, instead of fighting for survival. Thai people are kind and smiling, rallied. Slavs must learn from them that they are for one another mountain.

In addition, Thailand - is the sea, the sun, a warm climate year-round fruit, massages and oriental medicine. All this creates great opportunities for the rehabilitation of people injured.

- That's why you decided to organize the business?

- Not only. Throughout the year, I visited a great number of massage parlors and realized that only a few massage therapists make a truly educated massage. Also, I know how many people in Russia and Ukraine need help. Therefore, we immediately turned to the charity project, as not all those in need can afford to come to rehabilitation.

- What are the services of your team?

- We meet at the airport, we rent an apartment, signs a training schedule and organize them, arrange leisure. We found a first-class coach in swimming, specialist in physical therapy, fitness trainer, we have a pool and a gym, as well as modern spidbord for trips to the islands. We carry people on massages, because Thailand has an interesting feature - a good therapist would never come to the client, you need to come to him, pre-recorded.

- Jura, and in Thailand, things with a barrier-free environment? Would it not be an invalid, having arrived there for rehabilitation or simply relax, have difficulty with that?

- It depends on the degree of capacity constraints. I have no difficulty, since I can overcome almost any curb. For passive wheelchair may be complicated. But, oddly enough, in Thailand, a pretty good situation to deal with ramps. Of course, there are unequipped stores or there are shops with 1-2 steps, but everywhere there are Thais who are willing to help. :)

No time for excuses

- Jura, our special project called "No excuses." How do you understand this sentence?

- it is justified - then do nothing. I recently returned from Cambodia, which is famous for its ancient cities Khmer (Angkor and its surroundings).

You look at the ancient wall that for centuries, year after year, day after day, see sunsets and sunrises, and you know - you speck, your life is very short, time is short and it is priceless and there is no time to make excuses, we must act in order to achieve something in life.

- Tell us about your future plans?

- I do not want to laugh again God, but I want to ensure that our project was successful, and more people were able to improve their health in Thailand.
