How to stop playing for time and make the right decisions

Recently, I often realize that my friends are dragging their feet before decision-making. "I want to write a book, but do not know where to start." "With pleasure resignedBut what I do then? "" I always wanted to travel, but I can not find the time. " In a sense, everything that they say, means one thing: they are afraid.
After 30 years you will not remember what to buy bread at the bakery. On deathbed you will not care what luggage you take with you on vacation. You will not remember whether or not you worth it to go for a romantic comedy or adventure (except, of course, the continuation of the "Die Hard").
None of these things will not matter. What is really important is the way you acted, what to invest, which decided to take. Or what did not. That is the essence.
Indeed, most decisions do not change lives. The universe does not care about what you ate for breakfast, but it is likely that you have something to eat. So you will be examined with this! Of course, you would be better if you eat eggs instead of cookies. But not all solutions are equal. And even on the contrary. But most of the time you have to decide what to do.
You can, of course, to take wrong decisions (for example, see the "Die Hard"). But more often, making a decision, you do not choose between this or that, you choose between action and inaction. And most of us are afraid to make a choice.
We spend time on the plans and setting goals that will never be achieved. We are afraid to do something wrong and obsess over minor details. And, sadly, we aimlessly squander the most important moments.
Better than planning
I'm not against planning. I just know that I and a lot of people, with whom I have to say, the plans only hinder. This barrier. Another way to stay in place. So what is the solution? What will help get rid of the paralyzing necessity to choose?
Just start. Life - it is a journey, not a business plan. Stop trying to control everything.
I know it sounds too pathetic, is not it? But what do you want more - plan your life or live it? Throw everything out of your head and live.
It does not matter where you are going, how long you need to think about. Just go. Most often you need to just move on to something, not something that you are moving. Stop worrying about which way to go, just go. Once you create a momentum, you can learn to manage. This is how life is.
A friend of mine calls it the principle of a bicycle. He means that it is easier to change a life, when you're on the move. Like riding a bike: the faster you go, the easier it is to manage it. Conversely, if you're not moving and trying to manage, then, most likely, you fall. Is not it interesting that the failures do not happen when we're moving too fast, and when it is too slow? Therefore, start pedaling and see where you end up in the end.
What to do next
Your task - to seize the opportunity, not available on all answers. If you do not know where to begin, start with small changes.
- Go for a jog or a bike ride without a specific purpose. Simply start driving in the hope to get out of a familiar terrain. Turn random at each random street or footpath as long until you lose. Do not worry about how to get back. Look where you were. Remember that sense of wonder from where you wandered. Remember that you need to keep moving. Make an effort and try to lose the most. So you learn to overcome difficulties better each time when making decisions, big or small.
- Sit out on the street without gadgets for an hour. Allow yourself to get bored and look where boredom zavedet you. Can you listen to the chirping of birds? Howling wind? Own breath? Focus on the machines, or children, or sounds that emit insects. First, do it once a week, then every other day, then every day. One of the reasons why we put off making important decisions, is that distract us new things. Distraction is not compatible with determination. - Do something that scares you. send summary to another job. Tell someone that you love him. Invite your neighbor on a date. Laugh out loud in a public place. Start a conversation with a stranger.
