If before the New Year, you have made yourself a list of goals, but the case is not very advanced, it is time to correct the situation.
1. reassessed
Most likely, there was some reason why you scored a goal. Think about why it happened and what you want to achieve today. Much of the work - is to put the right goal.
- Make sure it is relevant to you and the goal now is the right time to implement it.
- Think about whether you have the time to achieve it.
- Make sure that it does not run counter to your values.
Sometimes we choose to target, because everyone else is doing. We think we also have to achieve it. But you will not achieve success if at the moment this goal is just not yours.
2. Use the deadline as motivation
When time is limited, you realistically assess their capabilities. Think about what you want to achieve by the end of the year. It seems feasible, and fun, and that unbearable? The answer to this question will help to understand the reasons to focus in the remaining time. Use the approaching deadline to recharge motivation.
3. Apply the force of habit
To move toward the goal for a year or more, you need to put a lot of effort and have an iron discipline. Facilitate their task, making work habits on the result.
Remember that the goals should be specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and time-bound. Think about exactly what you need to do each week to achieve the desired. What result do you want?
Let's say you want to increase profit at a certain percentage or to attract a certain number of new customers. Think, what habits you as close to that goal. For example, how many people you need to call in a week, and to offer them that they wanted to become your customers. Focus on these activities.
4. Spend time and energy wisely
Learn to delegate certain tasks and deal with only the most important.
Keep track of what time you work best, and dedicate it to cases that require you to specific productivity or creativity. And do not blame yourself for what you have to start all over again. Do not waste this energy, better send it to achieve the goal.
