1. Do you have a favorite author? What his book you recommend to read?
It is difficult to choose a favorite writer, as soon as possible to name their favorite books read over the years. This "Accursed Kings" Maurice Druon, "Narcissus and Chrysostom"Hermann Hesse"French Lieutenant's Woman"John Fowles"On the sunny side of the street"Dina Rubina"children of the Arbat"Anatoly Rybakov,"Hero of our time"Mikhail Lermontov (the book I terribly hated school, wade through it with great difficulty, and then rediscovered a few years later, already in Philology).
Name and poetry, because of it, too, must not be forgotten. In different periods of life answers to some very important questions for myself, I found in the poems of Blok, Yesenin, and the collection of "With you and without you," Konstantin Simonov.
2. With a book from childhood you have associated with the most fond memories?
This is a book by Astrid Lindgren "The Kid and Carlson, who lives on the roof." I read it many dozens of times, and also waiting Carlson even opted out of the neighboring houses, on the roof of which, in my opinion, he lived "my" Carlson.
My parents and their friends supported this my child's belief that sooner or later I have the window you hear the buzz of motor of cherished. And only in 12 years come to understand that Carlson will not come... Although, who knows, maybe I should not have stopped to wait for him?
Well, more of the favorite books of the time - "The Wizard of Oz" (six pieces) and "Old Hottabych».
3. What book are you re-read often and with pleasure?
Now I read a lot of children's literature, for one simple reason: my son Nikita four years, and I do it with him. You can not imagine what a pleasure - to re-read nursery rhymes and fairy tales, enjoy the game of words and sounds.
Here, for example, the wonderful poetry of Marina Vishnevetskaya "Ela protein loaf in the beam" or "Out of Ryazan on the trolley in Syzran went cuckoo." Or find such mini-messages to adults in children's books that are used to not paying attention. For example, at Korney Chukovsky in "Cockroach": "We have the enemy on the horns would just hide the road, and the horns now also not cheap." It's absolutely adult line, not for children.
4. Which book is the most inspired you to some action?
She inartistic. This is a great popular science book about the Russian language "Live life as an" Korney Chukovsky. It tells the story of how changing and evolving our languageHow much of what we think of his disabilities or illnesses, in fact normal and natural processes.
This book inspires nonlinguist talk about the Russian language, because many errors, which drew the attention of Korney Chukovsky, alive, and now, half a century after the publication of his work.
We are still very much like to lament their mother tongue and to complain about the unprecedented drop in literacy today. And we do not even suspect that such conversations were held in all ages.
5. Was the book from which you could not break away until you have read to the end?
Is that some kind of a fairy tale or childhood stories of Agatha Christie as a teenager. Unfortunately, such a luxury - immerse yourself in a book and not come off it until the last page - I can not afford, you need to switch to the numerous cases of work.
But a few times over the last year, I read out, was driving a subway station. At this time in my hands was a book by Galina Yuzefovich "What do the bestsellers"Guzel Jachin"Zulaikha opens his eyes"And articles on the history of Russian orthography. :)
6. What book be sure to read each person and why?
I am convinced that "definitely need" and "reading" - incompatible concepts. Read is not necessary because it is "necessary", it is "developing", "enriched" - all these school setting only discourages take up a book.
Reading - is first of all the joy of communicating with a good artistic text, which, for whatever reason, touches you in some important strings.
There is a nice anecdote: "Why do they say that you can not be a cultured person, if you do not read Pushkin? That's Shakespeare, for example, he was a cultured man, and he did not read Pushkin! "You can not judge a person by the way what books he reads or does not read.
7. What of the last read fiction books do you remember? Than?
"Zulaikha opens his eyes," Guzel Jachin. Perhaps, it can hardly be said about this book better than it did Ulitskaya: "A powerful work of glorifying love and tenderness in hell." The narrative of survival in inhuman conditions, in the conditions of the unprecedented scale of terror that swept the entire country.
My grandfather, too, was arrested, too, was exiled to Siberia... It is difficult to imagine how our grandparents were able to endure all this, and continue to live, to love, to make plans for the future. Of course, these books are necessary, though sometimes difficult to dive in our recent history.
8. What do you prefer: paper, electronic, audio books? Why?
Only paper books. Maybe it's weird Internet portal for the main editor, that hosts and electronic dictionaries, but for me the dictionary, for example, or a monograph or scientific journal may well be in the online format, but an art book - this is printed edition.
It must be opened with a crunch and smell - and this is a foretaste of the joy of traveling in an unfamiliar text of new emotions and impressions. I think that is important to many: that is why paper books will live a very long time, although they did not have time buried, predicting the imminent transition to electronic versions.
9. Do use special applications for reading? What?
I do not use any. I read only conventional paper books.
