In one of the posts I wrote about application with a variety of smoothie recipes from Whole Living and Martha Stewart. And, of course, I bought it and decided to try gradually all the recipes.
Restocking of vitamins and do not forget to count calories. So, the very first recipe (and one of the brightest in color) - Apple + Carrot + Ginger + orange! For this recipe I had to get around pylivshuyusya juicer.
I got a juicer because to find in our stores the normal carrot juice is quite difficult. Therefore, it was easier to buy carrots and cook fresh carrot - much tastier and healthier!
In the original recipe, carrot juice should be frozen and then grind the ice in a blender with the remaining ingredients. But as it is now getting colder again, drinking cocktails with ice - not a good idea. I decided to leave fresh carrot in its original condition.
So, for two servings you will need: glass of carrot juice, orange juice, 1 green apple, 2 teaspoons ginger, 1 teaspoon of honey.
What to do about this?
Apple peeled and seeds, finely chopped (to make it easier to grind in a blender). A small piece of fresh ginger rub on a grater.If you are using the juices from the package, just mix all the ingredients in a blender and smoothie is ready. Or if you prefer a more natural ingredients (as in my case), cook the carrot and orange juice, and then mix everything.
My adjustments. Carrot got a sweet and distinct taste, the apple was too sweet, so I: a) added less juice, and b) did not add honey - and so sweet it! If an apple tart, better add a little honey.
I would also advise you to add a little less ginger, because without it the taste of ice felt quite strongly.
Carrots, oranges and apples will add you energy and vitamins and ginger to help fight off colds. As a result, you get vitamin bomb with an antiseptic effect;)
