Living in Thailand, we are addicted to soy sprouts. If you add them to salads, rice and noodles with vegetables with the right sauce, it turns incredibly delicious! Delicious even just eat them with soy sauce, raking in more spoon. They are juicy, delicious, healthy and fresh smell. But... But the last time to find them for the normal price and good quality is difficult. On the shelves of some stores they disappeared altogether.

Therefore all lovers of Asian cuisine (and a tasty and useful food) offer to remember school biology lessons and conduct a little experiment - to grow sprouts at home. And it can be not only soybeans, but other legumes and wheat. It will not take much of your time and take care of sprouts as a garden, it is not necessary. Importantly do not forget to add water;)
So, three options - choose the one that seems the most simple!
Sprouting in a glass jar
It's very simple - you rinse selected seeds, put them in a jar and fill it with water so that it covers them from above. Bottle opening covers the gauze or fine mesh and fasten its rubber band, leaving the bank at night. Morning merging the remaining water and washed with seeds. After which the seeds are placed on the grid for the sink and washed a few times throughout the day. At night, again soaked in the bank. Harvesting this way lasts from three to seven days. The duration depends on what you decide to germinate the seeds. The easiest way to wheat, radishes, peas, chickpeas, lentils, waving, beans - they are ready for use as soon as they sprout from the seeds began to unfold. But the seeds of cabbage have to tinker a bit, as they become edible only when there is the green part and the first leaves.
germination of buckwheat
It appears, buckwheat sprouts are often used as an ingredient for salads. Although I have never tried buckwheat sprouts. Place the seeds in a jar at night, as it was described in the first embodiment. Then washed with seeds and put them in a bowl or glass jar and cover with a towel. Leave in this position for a few days. Buckwheat sprouts are ready for use as soon as germinated. Buckwheat produces gelatinous substance that it is necessary to rinse well, so there was not mold.
Growing sprouts in soil
Another option - is to put the seeds into the soil. Usually it is used for the germs that need to be eaten with a green part. Buy soil and trays for the land. The seeds are soaked for one night, the water is drained in the morning and leave them under a towel for 1-2 days. Once the seeds have sprouted, spread in trays on soil, water and concealed by a thin top layer of soil. to look like for ordinary houseplants.
