How to run in the rain
Sport And Fitness / / December 19, 2019
Good weather, unfortunately, deteriorated and began tightening the autumn rains. I, as a newcomer, immediately the question arose about whether it is possible to run in the rain, what will be the consequences of such a run and when to run, how and why? Not to mention the extra motivation, because the idea that you have to run in this weather does not cause elation. So I decided to look for information... and found! Running in rainy and cool weather tempers immunity, Provided of course that you are wearing the right clothes and shoes. At this my excuses run out, and the phrase you want to print and hang framed on the most conspicuous place.
So, the very first thing you need to do the right thing - to dress it. It is not necessary to get into a large number of layers of clothing because if you run in the rain, you will get wet all the clothes and you will be even colder.
Ideally there should be two layers of clothing - one that is adjacent to the body, and outerwear. Of course, it would be better if the first layer was underwear or sports wear made of a special fabric, which dries quickly and allows the body to breathe (CoolMax, Supplex, Tactel). Outerwear: a head better than to wear a cap, that drops do not interfere with watching the road, running better slip sole and the top dressing jacket that will not allow moisture and thus allow the body to breathe. I had a jacket and trousers of the company Hanna - tested in the campaign.
If you decide to run in the winter, then here it is necessary to prepare thoroughly: winter shoes (or shoes to practice triathlon), all the same thermal underwear, hat (Headband, headphones) and a fleece jacket, on foot or sweat pants on fleece or taytsy.
And if you have no special equipment, just get dressed for the weather, do not overdo it with layers of clothing (if sweat or get wet - freeze more Immediately after the run: a warm shower (hot bath) and, of course, warm tea.
Do not get sick and run with the mind;)
