Falling back to iOS7 on iOS6
Do It Yourself Ios / / December 19, 2019
I admit, I really like iOS7, but her condition is still very far from what can be used daily. If you iOS7 installed on your phoneBut decided to revert, then here's a simple guide how to do it.
First you need to make a complete backup of your phone content. If you have one backup in iCloud, then do nothing. If locally, as in my case, then connect it to your computer with the most recent version of iTunes and make a backup:
Then you need to download the latest firmware version of the sixth version for your device. This can be done here - carefully select your phone model, firmware version, and shake:
Connect your device to iTunes and enter it into the engineering mode (DFU). Instead of stories about how this is done, it is better to show you the simple video instructions:
Go to the device management section in iTunes:
Now press and hold Alt⌥ key (Mac) or Shift⇧ (on Windows) and click on the button Restore iPhone ... (Restore). Predlozhat you choose to restore the firmware.
Now, after 15-20 minutes you will have a new iPhone with a clean sixth firmware, which will need to be restored from the backup created in the first step.
