How to build a kite out of scrap materials
Tips Do It Yourself / / December 19, 2019
Another great idea for outdoor activities in the summer - creating your own kite from virtually scrap materials. Classes for adults who love to design, and for children who like to help in this interesting lesson for adults. In general, for the whole family fun;)
Unfortunately, without help I would not be able to collect such a snake, and help will arrive only on Monday, so for now I share just interesting finding.
So, in order to assemble a kite, you will need:
1) 2 wooden strips 90 cm long and 120 cm: the longer strap - spine snake short - crossing.
2) Strong adhesive tape.
3) A good trash bag.
4) Fishing lines or rope for a snake.

assembly Procedure
1. Mark with a pencil on the crosspiece middle. On the "spine", measure 30 cm from one end and mark this point with a pencil. Attach the crossbar to a long bar at a right angle.
2. Secure with string or adhesive tape two strips. It is very important to strengthen them so that retained a right angle between the bars in the attachment points.
3. Pull the rope and attach it to the plate with adhesive tape in the order of one end of the bridge-end of the "spine" -second end of the jumper. Place the frame for the snake with the flat side down.
4. Under the flat side, place sliced thick plastic garbage bag. Properly secure the ends with adhesive tape.
5. Make two small holes along the long strips from the plastic in order to make the bridle (location for the holes are marked on the diagram). From above, you can apply an adhesive tape, and then make holes - so they will not tear.
6. To make the bridle, take the rope, pull it through the upper hole and secure the spinal snake. Then pull the rope through the bottom hole and secure the well again. Rope for a bridle should be long enough. When you pick up the bridle of snakes, it should be at least 20 cm from the surface. Before you fasten the other end of the bridle, pull it so as to obtain the best "20 cm above the surface."
7. Attach the fishing line to start the snake to the bridle. kite flying angle depends on where you attach the line, so you need to experiment a bit before you find the optimum point for themselves.
8. Attach the snake its "tail" - tow rope length of 120 cm. On this twine must have the entire length of tape that are attached at equal distances.
As I said, at the moment I do not have the possibility to collect and test of the snake, so I borrow a few photos of the build process, the author of this idea. I hope that you will not be difficult to understand this. If at build time have any questions - please write and we will deal with.
And the proof that this kite flying.
