Do It Yourself / / December 19, 2019
Late last month, we told you, like using WordPress to make your Twitter. The advantages of this solution are the use of your domain, the possibility for visitors to comment on the notes, and for authors to use the tags for the orderly storage of notes.
However, fantasy WP-experts is not limited thereto, and soon became aware of yet another embodiment, the use of blogging engine - to store data about your contacts.
Here are a couple of screenshots to illustrate what happened in the end:
You can add all the necessary information - address, phone, photo, contribute additional data. The features of such a contact management systems are accessible from any computer with the use of tags (Eg, friends, coworkers, employers, freelancers, etc.) and automatic output similar contacts (analogue related entries in blogs).
The only negative - a long installation. Need to put a few plug-ins for WordPress (WP Contact Manager - for managing contacts, Custom Write Panel - for comfortable work with custom fields, Members Only - to restrict access to the blog only for logged users, WordPress 2.3 Related Posts - for withdrawal of similar contacts, Search Everything - for better search).
Limited demo version of this blog, and contact manager available here, but here you can read the instructions for installation and configuration.
