Google Photos for so many of our readers have long been a favorite tool store and view photos. In the latest version of the program appeared useful feature that will help free up additional space for storing images on a smartphone.
As you are probably well aware, the mobile Google Photos app can automatically upload pictures you have taken in the cloud. So you can always be sure that even in the event of loss or damage to the gadget of your photo collection always in complete safety. Now in the Google Photos app for Android there was an option to remove from the device all the images, copies of which have already been stored on the Internet. This feature can be found in the program settings, it is called "Freeing up device."
It should be noted that in conjunction with this feature, developers finally fixed a bug related to the removal of the images stored on the SD-card. Now, after their removal, they will no longer be reflected in the gallery, which previously was very annoyed many users.
The second update is associated with the Google Web interface Photos. As I wrote earlierTo store photos you unlimited space is allocated, but only if your photos do not exceed the size of Google. It is possible that this limitation seemed unacceptable to you and you decide to download the pictures in their original quality. If your photo archive quickly filled all allocated space, you can now easily convert already uploaded photos from the original high quality and thus release required space.
This option is available in settings service Google Photos now, but the mobile application upgrade will have to wait a bit. However, if you want to try out the functions described above right now, you can download the latest version of Google Photos here. Note that before you install the application, you must first uninstall your existing version.
