When working with a large number of images there is a question of the effective organization and viewing. It is important for anyone involved with the design, execution, and simply people who love, when all sort through. It is for this and created Pixave image manager, which is not only easy to store and view pictures, but also sort them, edit, export to various formats and perform some additional operations.
In Pixave comfortable three-panel interface that is familiar to all users of OS X. On the left is a sidebar that contains all the collections and your library folder. The standard collection of images automatically fall - the app sorts them by content type, separating the wallpaper from the screenshots and icons of animation. The beauty!
Imports by simply dragging the images to your sidebar or in the mini-widget, which can minimize the main window, it is convenient to place it in any part of the screen.
You can create simple and smart collection (by setting certain parameters), as well as the folder where the stack-like content conveniently. The smart collections are available a variety of filters, including file type, size, resolution, color and more.
Click on the "Space" or do a double click and get into playback mode. Right sidebar displays information about the file, here you can add a comment to it, assign a tag or rating. Available basic image editing annotation tools. At your disposal are the tools of "View"That is, the selection arrows, text, signature, and so on. There are also several different filters, one can compose combinations.
But, as you know, image editing - this is not the main horse Pixave, the app "sharpened" under the convenient sorting and organization. To do this - in addition to the automatic distribution of content types in a standard collections - have tags (in the Finder), and this type of cataloging as "ColorsĀ» (Colors). It is included in the sidebar tab with an icon of a drop. Its essence is as follows: The application analyzes the colors on all pictures in the library, and groups them by shades. In this case, you can set several parameters. Quite a handy thing if you want to, say, pick up a suitable one another by the color of the image.
Of the additional features worth noting Pixave export in various formats, as well as Sharing images to Facebook, Twitter, Mail, and so on. You can export images in the PDF-document or even to create a book in ePub, then to watch it on your iPad.
In addition, the application has a browser that lets you take screenshots of pages of sites. It is very convenient because it eliminates the entire page as a whole, and not just what fits on the screen. Of course, you can do the usual screenshots or windows, which will be stored in the library Pixave for further work with them.
Application Settings contain a variety of display options, export quality parameters, hot keys and display notifications. Here everything is simple and clear. The only thing why I looked into them - is to mute notifications when interacting with files (it is very annoying).
Overall Pixave fairly functional application that solves a number of problems, which included there Additional tools such as creating ePub-books from your images, or removal of screenshots web pages. Assess its real benefit will be able to only those who do a lot of tinkering with pictures and keeps a large collection on the hard drive. Just to experiment, to spend 600 rubles, I think it makes no sense.
