From time to time we come back to the idea of using web services like desktop applications. But problems such use weight - does not work correctly drag-n-drop, no proper notification of new developments, and such web applications in Tabah constantly pulled our attention from the really important of things.
Raven - is an attempt to make all the Web applications in a separate window, giving them a sense of "native" in your operating system. Let's see what they did.
This application does not call himself a browser and tries to show how the application of the program and even has an internal "store" of such applications - Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Tech Crunch, and many others.
Applications that you install are packed in the sidebar and behave very much like the accounts in Twitter application for the Mac. They show a notification if there is an update. App Facebook, for example, shows an invitation to game events, incoming messages.
If we talk about the pattern of use of such a browser, the ideal is seen its application in full-screen mode with the department of social networks and work in the browser tabs usual. The only problem is that Raven does not give any possibility to open links outside of itself, in the default browser.
