Often, situations arise when several available Wi-Fi points, and you rule of thumb to find out what works best from these networks. Unfortunately, Windows 8 selects the network on your own, but there is a way to change the priority of networks to the system without the use of third-party software.
We help great and powerful command line. Run it and enter:
netsh wlan show profiles
A list of points and their position in the list from top to bottom, and is a priority.
Let's say we need to connect to the system w1r3l3 $$ first. enter:
netsh wlan set profile order name = "w1r3l3 $$" interface = "Wi-Fi" priority = 1
Now, if we again introduce the first team, we can see that w1r3l3 $$ is now a top priority.
That's all. By the way, if the same problem exists in your Windows 7, there it is solved easily through wireless manager. Click on the connection icon in the taskbar and select the "Control Center Network and Sharing Center."
On the left, select the item "Manage wireless networks".
In the resulting interface we select the desired network and move it up or down with the respective buttons.
