We bring to your attention an article published Mashable's blog, in which the 13-year-old American teenage girl Ruby Karp explains why none of her friends do not need Facebook.
I - a teenager who lives in New York. All my friends use social networks - Instagram, Vine, Snapchat, and others. Facebook was all what I wanted when I was younger.
Mom, I want Facebook!
But now I'm 13 and everything changed. Facebook becomes interesting to teenagers and I think I know why this is happening.
Part of the reasons for the loss of attention to people of my generation is that we just do not want it. When we wanted to stupor in Facebook, we already had Instagram. It turned out that the desire to get into Facebook was only because it was the thing which hung our parents. Now it turns out that none of my friends has no active account to Facebook. They believe that to sit in it - just wasting time. I got himself a Facebook just to see what it is and how it all works. Later I realized that the sense from Facebook without friends there are not very many. The only friend I have there is my grandmother.
Teens - gregarious creatures. Such is us. If someone of my friends will be a cool thing called Snapchat, then I want such a thing to himself. We like the fact that in the trend. It is difficult today to call Facebook a trend thing. And that is not a trend, young people do not care.
All of our parents and their friends sit within Facebook. And it's not just the fact that they commented on our fotochki such as "Hello, pirozhochek!", But also in the fact that I'm having trouble after viewing their photos taken with my friends.
Here is an example. I was invited to a party of minors, on which there is alcohol. I do not drink, but someone took the phone and fotkaet me. Even if I do not drink myself, against the backdrop may be casting a girl shotom. Then someone takes a stupid decision to publish these fotochki to Facebook. Then these fotochki see my mother, who understands that I was at a party with alcohol. And, even if not exactly clear that I did not drink, she will beat me. It's not Facebook's fault, but it is so everything works.
The same applies to school jeers. Children publish things and discuss them, but parents react properly and because of this we have a problem. They just see that someone wrote a rude and told us not to take part in it. Again, it's not Facebook's fault, but only when this happens.
When I was a child, my mother enjoyed Fasebook. There it passes the test, playing games and so on. It was a very personal space. Something big, but at the same time very own. Growing up, I wanted to, and currently is its own private space. But as soon as I got it, all gone wrong - to change the good old Facebook's Timeline has done its job.
Look at Twitter - only four buttons and a simple design. People love the simplicity.
Irritating and that Facebook has become a real marketing monster. They use the information that I have, "laykala" and show my ads on these topics. Like... But, believe me, I do not have any interest in a new product for hair from Pantene, ads that I see to Facebook.
When I was 7, then Facebook was not what it has become today. "Why would you change it if we like the same?"
In the end, the guys from Facebook overdone. Teenagers do not like it, it repels them. This is similar to a situation in which my mother tells me something to do and most of all I want only this. When she tries to get me to do something, then that's what starts to enrage most.
We like to do things their own way. As soon as someone tells us enthusiastically about the new superfood features on Facebook, we turn around and find a new social media.
We know that we need Facebook. That we will have to continue his life further. And we understand that, from this Facebook infuriates even more.
No matter what, I love Facebook and I think that to have a similar site for all people - a great happiness. I believe that they will be able to find a way to please us.
