Many of you have probably already moved their mailboxes on iCloud. During beta testing in July 2012, Apple reported that the type of address icloud.com I'll set up for everyone who uses the Apple cloud service and was User MobileMe. Apparently, the transition to icloud.com almost complete, since Apple MobileMe users to send notifications of their new format of e-mail addresses.
Despite the fact that icloud.com address space has been created as a replacement for mac.com and me.com, these domains can still be used. For example, the letter sent to the address [email protected], will also appear on [email protected] and [email protected]. Below there is a text of a letter from Apple.
All new iCloud Mail accounts now have e-mail addresses of the form icloud.com. For MobileMe users, we have reserved the names of their boxes cloud.com. If desired, you can continue to use your current mailbox as before. Regardless of what kind of box you are using, you will receive all mail sent to your mailbox type icloud.com, me.com or mac.com.
I'm sure many old people prefer to stay at their current address, to highlight the "old school" and "hardcore". And what format is closer to you?
