Below there is a free translation of the text of the letter:
Our users.
At Apple, we try to create first-class products, providing maximum convenience for our users. With the launch of our new Maps last week, we could not keep the bar. We bring our deepest apologies for the disappointment that has been caused by the users, and do everything possible to make the map better.
We have launched a card with the first version of iOS. Over time, we wanted to provide our users with cards that would be even better, and included features such as turn-by-turn directions, voice integration, Flyover and vector maps. To implement all this, we had to create a product with zero.
Already more than 100 million iOS devices using the new Apple maps, and getting bigger every day. Just a week iOS users search produced more than half of seats in the new maps. The more our clients are using our maps, the better the maps will be, and we appreciate all the feedback we receive from you.
At the time, until we improve the map, you can try an alternative number of applications in the App Store, such as Bing, MapQuest or Waze, or use Google Maps or Nokia, go to their site through the browser and creating a shortcut on your home screen to their Web-based applications.
Everything we do at Apple, is aimed at making our products the best in the world. We know that you expect that from us, and we will continue to work without interruption until the cards reach the state level of quality.
