In iOS 8 found a bug that can deliver users a lot of trouble. If you for some reason you need to do a full reset all settings - be prepared to lose all iWork documents in iCloud Drive.
On the MacRumors forums in a number of reports appeared perturbed users with complaints of disappearance iWork documents from the "cloud» Apple when you reset all settings (Settings - Reset - Reset All settings). Here is one of these messages:
Since iOS 8 running on my iPad 3 is too sluggish, I reset all settings (in this case, it was reported that all data and media files will be saved), and found that my lost data from iWork! I synchronize tablet Mac (OS X Yosemite) - document is deleted and there. I do not have backups in iTunes or iCloud (although iCloud backups do not save documents cloud). I seem to have lost their documents forever.
It seems that this is a nasty bug comes to iWork documents stored in iCloud Drive and iCloud.com, because when you reset all the settings are not deleted, for example, documents created in TextEdit.
There is currently no way to restore documents deleted from iCloud Drive after a reset all settings on your mobile device with iOS 8, so that while it is better to refrain from the use of this function. Probably, in the near time, Apple will be able to fix the error, the more that iCloud Drive will work fully only at the end of October, after the release of the final version of OS X Yosemite.
