Microsoft introduced a new version of Outlook for Mac

Microsoft has announced in its official blog the release of a new, completely redesigned version of Outlook for the Mac. All Microsoft Office for Mac will appear in the second half of 2015.

Office 365 subscribers will receive the next version of Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote) for Mac at no additional charge. Microsoft also announced that it will release a perpetual license for Office for Mac users.

Changes in the new version of Outlook For the Mac:

• improved performance and reliability
• new, modern user interface with improved scrolling and switching between tabs
• support online when searching for archives Exchange Mail
• support the main list of topics and improved access to the list of categories (name and color), synchronization between Mac, Windows and OWA
• support in the delivery of push e-mail
• the increased speed of the first start-up and retrieve e-mail with Exchange Web Service improved synchronization
