Eric Schmidt: Apple and Google are constantly negotiating

Chairman of the Board of Directors of Google Eric Schmidt (Eric Schmidt) says that in the last year the relationship between Google and Apple have become much warmer thanks to frequent talks between the leaders companies.
IN interview for Reuters Schmidt said that the two tech giants are actively working to resolve their differences. According to Eric, Apple and Google «are constantly in a state of negotiations on many issues."
Interestingly, not so long ago, in October 2012, Eric Schmidt sounded a slightly different attitude regarding the relationship between the two leading IT-companies, stating publicly that the battle between iOS and Android is "a decisive battle for the industry."
Recall that Google and Apple were quite close partners until such time until Google introduced its Android mobile operating system, becoming a major competitor to Apple. After that, the Cupertino decided to offer users their own mapping service to replace Google Maps development, removed YouTube app from the iOS of the box, as well as Eric Schmidt was asked to leave the board of directors of Apple, which he did in August 2009.
In addition to the chairman of the board of directors of Google, Schmidt is a member of the Council for Science and Technology under the President of the United States, as well as part of the fund "Skolkovo" Board of Trustees.
