FoneLink: more than just syncing

In my opinion the opportunities offered by OS X to use your mobile phone out of the box look pretty good: easy connectivity, synchronization contacts, the ability to use certain devices with bluetooth as a remote control... It is much more than the tools provided by the Windows... However, the "soul wants more ". Honestly, I did not have the synchronization means can be a little more than iSync to store all data in the device memory. After all, the cost of a mobile phone - nothing compared to the cost of the data stored in it, exactly as the cost of computer hardware is often an order of magnitude (or even more) below the value of the data stored on the hard disk.
Under Windows for use with a mobile phone used by FMA wonderful program. I have some SonyEricsson home, hence the choice of application. Neither Windows nor poor set of software Sony Ericsson-like features I could not give. Program mercilessly buggy, some functions simply did not work, but, as in the famous joke "hedgehogs crying and injected, but continued to eat a cactus". Especially because the cactus free :)
So, for the Mac I was able to meet quite by accident FoneLink, A program that can seem to solve my problem. However, nezadarom :)
The first pancake, ie the launch was lumpy. Program to focus not notice my Z530, but after a few minutes of persuasion agreed to work with supruginym Z310. At the same time she first joined with the device, and then flatly refused to notice it. Helped restart (Windows way, pancake).
The program interface (by the way, looking like a kind of hybrid Windows and Mac applications) is divided into several sections: Home Center, Mobile Finder, Organizer, Media Center and the Time Tunnel.
With Home clear. Then either flaunts an invitation to add a device, or a list of ready-to-use devices and backups or duplicates the contents of the toolbar (hello, Windows).
Mobile Finder - finder-like interface for manipulating files. Add / delete / create a folder... Actually, the same can be done by standard means when connected via Bluetooth, except that here the muzzle slightly poprivychnee interface.
Organizer. The most interesting :) Classic PIM. There is a list of contacts to display a la Address Book and the ability to flip the contacts / phone. Here is a list of events, browser bookmarks (Offer synchronize them with Safari looks like a mockery), notes and SMS. In the last is worth looking in more detail, because developers in an attempt to emulate the interface Mail.app created quite sane means of the short message. Here and convenient browsing and instant filtering and the ability to fill a message from the keyboard (QWERTY vs. T9 - no comparison ...). Working with SMS from your computer to order more pleasant than with a mobile phone. And finally - the classics, that is synchronization. You can sync all and everything: contacts - the address book, calendar - with the iCal, bookmarks - with Safari. Actually, there is nothing fundamentally better than not expect iSync.
Time Tunnel. As you can guess, this is an attempt to implement a Time Machine for mobile. An attempt is so miserable, that despite all the efforts of developers to look at her without crying hard. The implementation of "time machine" with a complete lack of animation and using the basic controls - that the monster would be envious of Dr. Frankenstein.
Well, the classic fly in the ointment, the price: 34 euros. In this demo version requires the money in the "best traditions» shareware: except that every 5 seconds a full-screen window pops Register me.
Summary: good functionality at moderate nice wrapper. Crude interface and numerous minor flaws spoils the impression, though competing product, by and large, there is nothing. Personally, I Save your money at least until the next version: according to the promises of the developers, it has not long to wait.
