In New York, you can free and ecologically charge your iPhone

Strolling through the iPhone users, iPad and iPod New York will soon be able to stop worrying about the level of charge their gadgets, because in the coming weeks in the city will be "solar charging station" for i-devices.
Company's Goal Zero, AT & T and Pensa launched a project Street ChargeIn which the whole of New York City will be equipped with charging stations, street mobile devices. Each station includes three 15-watt solar panels and six connectors, including a standard micro-USB, as well as the old 30-pin Apple connector and the new Lightning. In addition, the presence of capacious battery charging stations allow gadgets even at night!
The first eco-charging the other day was established in Brooklyn Bridge Park. The AT & T said that while plans to expand this summer 25 such stations throughout the city.
The Goal Zero say afterwards stations can be upgraded. For example, the accumulated per day of "surplus" energy can feed streetlights, or stations can get free Wi-Fi-points. Chapter Goal Zero is full of positive: "We are delighted to team up with AT & T and Pensa, to work together to make New York a little greener and the sun's energy to make a little more accessible."
