Recently, as part of YaC 2014"Yandex" has presented a useful application "Yandex. Dictation ", which turns it into the text, as well as to recognize different voice commands. Just how well it copes with its task, I will try to tell you now.

I tested the application and decided to share with you my feelings. The first thing that catches your eye - this is the font itself, in my opinion, it looks a bit dated. But it may be developers specifically wanted to have the feeling that you are reading the text typed on an old typewriter.

The app is very interesting, the commands in tooltips, Yandex. Dictation takes just great, in other cases, it may sometimes make mistakes. The app is not yet deprived of some drawbacks, but we hope that they will soon disappear.
