"Thoughts Tim Cook" - is heading, which we'll talk about the Apple leader's worldview. In a series of interview Cook for Duke University, he shared his thoughts about career, about what inspires him, and much more. In the second part of the article we will talk about that Cook thinks about teamwork.
Asked about what qualities Cook primarily draws attention to hiring employees, the interviewer got an instant response:
We are looking for non-political people, not bureaucrats. Those who can enjoy the company's success, but not to stick out his services to others.
Cook "complain" that he has to work with a fantastically clever people that encourage initiative and extraordinary course of thinking. In this there are also minuses: often led Apple has to wake up at night to hear an enthusiastic speech on the phone from the person who came up with a new idea.
This is the role of the CEO, of the Cook opinion. People need help to promote ideas to the next level, so the ability to work together - it's the quality that the company is looking for employees first.
Apple, unlike other companies that we produce "iron", software and services. And the real magic happens when the combined three of these components.
"It is unlikely that a person who is engaged in only one of these components, can create magic - says Cook - so we did appreciate the ability to collaborate and share ideas."
