Working with e-mail - an integral part of our lives. Every day, many of us are there correspondence or simply watching their subscriptions. In this matter, everyone has their own preferences. There are many different email clients, and today we look at another representative - Unibox, who recently came out of beta testing and received the first version. If we consider the e-mail clients, then you are sure to find similarities in them. Their work is the same: have an account and have a directory in which the letters are sorted (inbox, outbox, drafts, etc.) - on this built all email applications.
Unibox - is rethinking work with your the email-message. The client does not contain folders for which letters are sorted instead, you work with your contacts. A similar principle is used in communications services (eg, iMessage).
Setting up an account is happening quite simple: you enter your contact information, and based on them picks the necessary settings app. What kind of email services are supported, I have not found, but tried basic: iCloud, Yandex, Gmail, Yahoo! - all worked without problems. Naturally, the accounts may be several. To add a new need to go to the menu "Unibox - Add account ...". As always, upsetting no Exchange support. More precisely, it is like and there, but it was not possible to set up its account to me. Perhaps future versions will correct this.
The program window is divided into two parts: on the right displays your contacts, which are sorted by date and recipient, and the left - directly to your correspondence. It looks quite logical.
If you decide to resort to the usual system of folders, it will be enough to click on the heading "Unibox" in the upper right column. Here you will see the familiar interface elements.
Now let's talk about usability. I spent two days with this e-mail client, pushing the standard by the wayside. Frankly - uncomfortable. If the terms of the correspondence between friends and acquaintances - suitable due to the nice interface, then for business correspondence - definitely not. And it's not that you can get lost in the mail, and that at the right time to find the correct. The app only searches for contacts, ignoring the text of the correspondence - and this is a very bold minus.
Unfortunately, the price is also very poor. 329 rubles - a bit too much for the application unresponsive basic criteria of such software. Revised - quite a can be, but for now - no more than 66 rubles.
