Yesterday Apple has received several new patents, reports AppleInsider. Among them - a patent describing the principle of the audio and video service that can automatically switch between streams and services to provide the user with a continuous stream of content selected according to its preferences. The second notable patent - a new design for the MacBook trackpad, where traditional mechanical button will be replaced by a sensor.
The first patent, potentially more interesting, because it describes the service resembles iRadio, but the interaction with third-party content sources - Stream, FM radio and many others. Users can create a playlist simply express some preferences about what they would like to see or listen to (the service interacts with the video and audio content), lean back, and then choose the desired program by switching between sources, for example, when the song ends, or activated advertising.
Moreover, the service will be able to record their own interest to the user television or radio show, so you can watch them later, or run the user's own library offline. Manage service will be through an interface that resembles an FM tuner. This is a very ambitious project, but most likely, he will not have to taste the content producers if it really will block ads. However, while this is only a patent, and in the future, the idea is likely to undergo significant changes.
Another patent concerns the updated trackpad on the MacBook, in which the "click" will be replaced with sensors that determine the pressing force. Such technology will positively affect the design of the laptop, as it has less cumbersome structure than the one that is used today. This will allow a more profitable use of the space inside the case for the other components, and the desire to make their devices thinner and lighter - has always been a hallmark of Apple. To maintain a sense of the impact of clicking on the button, the trackpad will create a vibration, strength will depend on your playing strength. Also, it is likely that the vibration can also be used for notifications, such as smartphones.
Of course, many people are used to the current Apple trackpad, so that would not want to exchange it for anything else - no wonder it is considered the best on the market trepadom. We can only hope that Apple will be able to outdo itself and create something even more convenient.
